(1) Himno de la Escuela de música de Coré.
1 1 (2) Dios mío,
tú has sido bondadoso
con esta tierra tuya:
le devolviste a Israel
su antigua felicidad,
2 2 (3) le perdonaste a tu pueblo
su maldad y sus pecados,
3 3 (4) ¡tu enojo con ellos se calmó!
4 4 (5) Dios y salvador nuestro,
deja ya de enojarte con nosotros,
y devuélvenos la felicidad.
5 5 (6) ¿Acaso para siempre
vas a estar enojado con nosotros?
6 6 (7) Estamos como muertos;
¡devuélvenos la vida!
Nosotros somos tu pueblo;
de ti esperamos alegría.
7 7 (8) Dios mío,
danos muestras de tu amor
y bríndanos tu ayuda.
8 8 (9) Dejemos de hacer locuras
y obedezcamos a Dios.
Recordemos que somos suyos,
y que él nos ha prometido paz.
9 9 (10) Dios está siempre cerca
para salvar a quienes lo honran,
y para que su poder
nunca nos abandone.
10 10 (11) El amor y la lealtad,
la paz y la justicia,
sellarán su encuentro con un beso.
11 11 (12) La lealtad brotará de la tierra,
y la justicia se asomará desde el cielo;
12 12 (13) Dios nos dará bienestar,
nuestra tierra dará buenas cosechas,
13 13 (14) y la justicia, como mensajera,
anunciará la llegada de Dios.

1 LORD, thou hast been favourable unto thy land: thou hast brought back the captivity of Jacob.
2 Thou hast forgiven the iniquity of thy people, thou hast covered all their sin. Selah.
3 Thou hast taken away all thy wrath: thou hast turned thyself from the fierceness of thine anger.
4 Turn us, O God of our salvation, and cause thine anger toward us to cease.
5 Wilt thou be angry with us for ever? wilt thou draw out thine anger to all generations?
6 Wilt thou not revive us again: that thy people may rejoice in thee?
7 Shew us thy mercy, O LORD, and grant us thy salvation.
8 I will hear what God the LORD will speak: for he will speak peace unto his people, and to his saints: but let them not turn again to folly.
9 Surely his salvation is nigh them that fear him; that glory may dwell in our land.
10 Mercy and truth are met together; righteousness and peace have kissed each other .
11 Truth shall spring out of the earth; and righteousness shall look down from heaven.
12 Yea, the LORD shall give that which is good; and our land shall yield her increase.
13 Righteousness shall go before him; and shall set us in the way of his steps.
