SALMO 29 (28)
(1a) Himno de David.
1-2 1-2 (1b-2) Ustedes, que en el cielo
están al servicio de Dios,
denle la honra que merece,
reconozcan su poder
y adórenlo en su hermoso templo.
3 La voz de nuestro Dios,
Dios de la gloria,
retumba como el trueno
sobre los grandes océanos.
4 La voz de nuestro Dios retumba con fuerza;
la voz de nuestro Dios retumba con poder.
5 La voz de nuestro Dios derriba los cedros;
nuestro Dios derriba los cedros del Líbano.
6 A los montes Líbano y Hermón
los hace saltar como terneros,
¡como si fueran toros salvajes!
7 La voz de nuestro Dios
lanza llamas de fuego;
8 la voz de Dios sacude el desierto;
¡nuestro Dios sacude el desierto de Cadés!
9-10 La voz de Dios retuerce los robles
y deja sin árboles los bosques.
Nuestro Dios es el rey de las lluvias;
él se sienta en su trono
para reinar por siempre.
En su templo todos lo alaban,
11 y desde allí le pedimos
que nos llene de fuerzas
y nos bendiga con su paz.

1 Give unto the LORD, O ye mighty, give unto the LORD glory and strength.
2 Give unto the LORD the glory due unto his name; worship the LORD in the beauty of holiness.
3 The voice of the LORD is upon the waters: the God of glory thundereth: the LORD is upon many waters.
4 The voice of the LORD is powerful; the voice of the LORD is full of majesty.
5 The voice of the LORD breaketh the cedars; yea, the LORD breaketh the cedars of Lebanon.
6 He maketh them also to skip like a calf; Lebanon and Sirion like a young unicorn.
7 The voice of the LORD divideth the flames of fire.
8 The voice of the LORD shaketh the wilderness; the LORD shaketh the wilderness of Kadesh.
9 The voice of the LORD maketh the hinds to calve, and discovereth the forests: and in his temple doth every one speak of his glory.
10 The LORD sitteth upon the flood; yea, the LORD sitteth King for ever.
11 The LORD will give strength unto his people; the LORD will bless his people with peace.
