Canto de gratitud
1 Isaías continuó diciendo:
«Ese día, el pueblo de Israel cantará:
“Te damos gracias, Dios nuestro,
porque aunque estuviste enojado,
ya se te pasó el enojo
y nos has consolado.
2 Confiamos en ti, Dios nuestro,
y no tenemos miedo,
porque tú eres nuestro salvador,
nuestro refugio y nuestra fuerza”.
3 »También ustedes se alegrarán
y gozarán de la salvación de Dios,
4 y entonces dirán:
“Demos gracias,
adoremos a nuestro Dios,
digamos a las naciones
todo lo que él ha hecho.
Que se reconozca
que él es el rey del universo.
5 Cantemos a Dios,
porque él ha hecho algo muy grande,
algo que debe darse a conocer
en toda la tierra.
6 Demos gritos de alegría,
habitantes de Jerusalén,
porque en medio de nosotros
está el Dios único y perfecto,
con toda su grandeza”».
1 And in that day thou shalt say, O LORD, I will praise thee: though thou wast angry with me, thine anger is turned away, and thou comfortedst me. 2 Behold, God is my salvation; I will trust, and not be afraid: for the LORD JEHOVAH is my strength and my song; he also is become my salvation. 3 Therefore with joy shall ye draw water out of the wells of salvation.
4 And in that day shall ye say, Praise the LORD, call upon his name, declare his doings among the people, make mention that his name is exalted. 5 Sing unto the LORD; for he hath done excellent things: this is known in all the earth. 6 Cry out and shout, thou inhabitant of Zion: for great is the Holy One of Israel in the midst of thee.
